We Need Your Help In Williamson County!

Are you tired of every new highway in Williamson County being built as a toll road? What happens to all those tax dollars we pay for highways?

Are you tired of you state elected representation from Williamson County backing right wing voucher proposals as a fix for our public schools? Shouldn't our tax money go to our public schools and not corporate charter schools?

Would you like your representative in Congress to represent you and not corporations, Tom Delay, and George Bush?

Do you have a special talent? Do you like talking to people on the phone? Do you like meeting new people? Do you like planning parties? Do you have computer skills? Can you write? Speak in front of crowds? Do you have woodworking or carpentry skills? If you have any of these skills or just want to see Williamson County Democratic again we need your help!

We have a need precinct chairs in many precincts in Williamson County. We have many committees that can utilize your special talents from web site to communications to events.

6:15 PM ..... Democratic Social/Fundraiser
7:15 PM ..... Executive Committee meeting

We need volunteers for our current active committees: Block Walk, Poll Workers, County Events, Sign, Voter Registration, Rules, Phone Bank, Office, Meetings/Convention, Fundraiser, Web-Site, Media, and Research

WCDP Dinner and Blind Auction Fundraiser October 15th, 2005 - 7 PM to 10 PM

Don't miss the Williamson County Democratic Party's Fall Fundraiser Saturday, October 15th, from7:00 to 10:00 p.m at the Fellowship Hall inside the Live Oak Unitarian Universalist Church, 3315 El Salido Parkway, Cedar Park, TX 78613.

For the suggested donation of $20, each ticket entitles the bearer to:

• a no-fooling delicious home-made dinner (roast beef and all the trimmings, and there're vegetarian dishes too!) including drink and dessert

• the opportunity to bid on Silent Auction and Blind Auction items (lots of quality items plus a few quirky ones)...
