Two Upcoming Candidate Forums

If you're not from these precincts with commissioner candidates it's worthwhile to show up. The judge candidates are running county-wide and the other county-wide candidates - congressional, legislative - show up too.

The first is for Precinct 2 candidates in Cedar Park. February 15th.
County forum set for Feb. 15

Precinct 2 residents will have the chance to get to know their candidates during the Hill Country News Candidate Forum on Feb. 15 at Cedar Park Middle School.

Candidates for the Williamson County Commissioner Precinct 2 race, County Judge race and District Clerk race have been invited to participate.

Candidates for County Commissioner, Precinct 2 include Melissa Beaudoin (R) of Cedar Park; Terry Davis (R) of Leander; Cynthia Long (R) of Cedar Park; and Michael Hofmann (D) of Leander. Candidates for County Judge are Dan A. Gattis Sr. (R) of Georgetown and Charlie Culpepper (R) of Round Rock. District Clerk candidates are Valerie Covey (R) and Lisa David (R).

The forum will run from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. A panel of Precinct 2 residents will ask questions compiled by the panel as well as questions submitted by members of the audience. Light refreshments will be served.

This is the only forum for Precinct 2 candidates actually held in Precinct 2, so come out and meet your candidates!
The second is in Taylor for Precinct 4 candidates. On February 20th.
